Carol Danvers, the current Captain Marvel, was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and later became an Air Force Intelligence Agency agent. As the enemies of the original Captain Marvel “Mar-Vell” came to Earth to capture Carol, in the process more Accidentally triggered an explosion of a mental device, causing her DNA to fuse with Mai Weir’s DNA, then Carol gained incredible superhuman powers, and became Ms. Marvel. Later taking over the title of Captain Marvel after Mar-Vell’s death.
This Captain Marvel figure is a non-articulated, non-scale figure. Its overall height reaches 60.3cm, approx. 23.75 inches. Compared with the apple on the side, the size is not small.
And it belongs to the Premium Format Figure series of Sideshow.
The figure reproduced the flying posture of Captain Marvel when she use her abilities.
Her Sparklefists are seen releasing the photon energy, which helped cause the wreckage to the ground, lifting Captain Marvel high up in the air, defying gravity.
This special effect part of photon energy reproduces Captain Marvel’s ability faithfully, and meanwhile cleverly connects the main body and the base, showing the situation of Captain Marvel flying.
From the side view, you can see that Captain Marvel’s flying pose is tilted, which better expresses the dynamic effect of the figure.
Her outfit is the classic red and blue battle suit, and the outfit perfectly resembles the one she wore in Marvel Comics.
The star on her chest shows the symbol she was represented, and the smooth golden lines on both sides are also well sculpted.
The red ribbon surrounding Captain Marvel’s low waist, known as a sash, has been flawlessly sculpted as even the details of the creasing can be seen evidently.
The blue-based battle suit has relatively good paint, and is also treated with the shadow effect.
Even the back of the shoes of Captain Marvel, is sculpted, emphasizing the lines.
The tight suit also features her charming figure.
Regarding the head sculpt, the facial features, make-up, and hairline details, are all well depicted.
If you zoom in on Captain Marvel’s facial expression, it stands for nothing but an indomitable personality with the help of her hair floating in the air, displaying an overpowering image of herself.
The wrecked ground is the base of the Captain Marvel figure, helping the diorama have a more pragmatic portrayal of the rubble she caused. The most minor details have been taken care of as the rocks turned into lava by the heat her photon energy caused while fighting with her enemies.
