The legendary protagonist of “The Witcher” is here to entice his fans. Prime 1 Studio has recently presented the new statue of the popular game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and it looks extremely bold and dark, reflecting the game’s theme. The statue they launched is Geralt of Rivia, the main protagonist of the game and ultimate hero. So without further adieu, let’s dig into the details of the statue. It’s time to add this monster, slayer, and hero to your all-time favorite “The Witcher collection”.
Geralt of Rivia was a witcher of the School of the Wolf who had undergone the rigors of witcher training and acquired almost superhuman physical and mental abilities.
He is good at swordsmanship and signs. These two abilities are simple and effective to use and can be suitable for dealing with various types of enemies.
Seemingly indifferent, he also has an emotional side. For his loved ones and friends, he is often willing to sacrifice himself in exchange for their safety.
This statue is made on a 1/3 scale with a height of 35 inches (88.9 cm) and a width of 21.92 inches (55.7 cm).
So its size is really big, and the overall display is very amazing.
And it belongs to the Museum Masterline series of Prime 1 Studio. As the name suggests, the statues in this series are all finely crafted enough for a museum collection, and the quality can definitely be trusted.
The scene reproduced by the statue is that Geralt holds his silver sword in one hand and the head of harpies that has just been killed in the other hand to demonstrate his fighting power, which looks very powerful.
From the side angle, you can have a more intuitive understanding of Geralt’s posture.
The costumes of Geralt of Rivia are also well portrayed. He seems to be wearing the iconic Kaer Morhen Armor over him with several belts and joint caps, including shoulder caps and leather boots with horseback belts, all made out of metal, giving him a heavy yet diligent look.
The details of the costume of this statue are quite delicate and intricate. His turtleneck leather armor was dark blue, buried in a brown belt with metal shoulder caps.
And its color is painted very evenly.
Around Geralt’s neck is his wolf-head necklace, a medallion he received from his rigorous training as a witcher. This is the identification of every witcher of the School of the Wolf.
It can be seen that the details of the medallion are very delicate, and there is a similar matte spray, and the depiction of its chain is also perfect.
Geralt wears leather fabric gloves with metal points which can exceed punch damage to a great extent. The remainder of his hand is covered with the same bodysuit as his armor, although they are topped off with other pieces of fabric as a measure of protection.
He has a belt around his waist and a crowbar attached to it as a weapon.
The metal coating of this crowbar is very good, and there are marks of battle damage on it.
At the same time, the subtle knot details on the belt are also exquisite.
These leather boots are depicted as very thick, rich in folds and textures, reflecting real leather materials.
In search of a greater purpose, Geralt never loses his spirit to fight against the monster. As depicted in the poster, the monster heads hanging in Geralt’s hand are quite clearer, showing his victory over the vice.
And the monster heads are the heads of the harpies. Geralt holds them with a rope in this statue, and the detailing is done marvelously, with the ropes connecting to each head. Additionally, all three heads have scattered scars and scratches highlighted in red to show that they are fresh.
Geralt’s weapons are also plentiful.
Two sword holsters on the back of the Geralt, as well as a crossbow, show they have done their work in slaying the monsters. One sword is already in while he is holding the other one in his right hand.
The holsters for both swords and this crossbow are masterfully sculpted with amazing surface content.
If don’t say it’s a statue, at first glance, I believe most guys will think they are real weapons.
Geralt has a total of two swords, a silver sword and a steel sword.
And this one in Geralt’s hand is the famous silver sword. Specially used to restrain evil life.
In addition to the special symbol patterns, the silver painting is also in place.
The head sculpt provided by Prime 1 Studio is as perfect as ever.
Geralt has greyish white hair, tied up in a half pony.
The scars on his face, the eyes with wolf-like pupils, the wrinkles, and the beard are all depicted.
I believe everyone will be very satisfied with this head sculpt.
The base’s content is also designed with a game theme, especially the shape is designed in the appearance of a Wolf Medallion.
It features broken swords, skeleton claws, amysterious egg, and a helmet, etc.
In addition, the Wolf Medallion’s base also has built-in LEDs, which can light up to make the wolf’s eyes glow red.
This statue also has a Deluxe Version. 3 additional head sculpts are included to the normal version.
In each of the sculptures, there are scars on his face around the eye, but his facial expressions are different.
They are: a face that looks full of revenge and anger, a face full of blood vessels that his expression is intensified to a more dark aspect, and a face with a long beard and a special tattoo on the left side of the face.
They can be connected to it through the neck and shoulder caps. Each one has its own charm and metallic add to it making the sculpture look exclusive.
Overall, this statue is true art, and its museum-level detailing can light up any corner of a room.
It’s an absolute must-have for The Witcher collection for fans around the world!
