Posted by Marvel Studios‘ superhero film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ” is released in North America on September 3, 2021. Taking advantage of this movie boom, Hot Toys presents the 1/6 scale action figures of Shang-Chi and Wenwu. Let’s take a look at the performance of this Shang-Chi action figure first.
This Shang-Chi action figure adopts a 1/6 scale, and its height is about 30cm, which is approx. 11.81 inches.
And this action figure recreates the look of the red martial arts uniform in the film.
The costume design of this figure is very exquisite, and it highly reproduces the Shang-Chi’s image in the movie.
At the same time, it uses real fabric materials and finely tailoring, which is very fit.
The surface of the costumes is also depicted with corresponding black stripes and dotted texture details.
According to the official introduction, it also has nearly 30 points of articulation, which can act out a variety of different scenes.
As shown in the picture above, the lower limbs of the action figure have good action ability and can perform a large flying kick posture.
At the same time, we can see the Shang-Chi action figure’s elbows are designed with exposed articulation, so its arms also have a very good bending range.
Head sculpting design has always been Hot Toys’ strength, and this time they have also given play to their outstanding design capabilities.
And this figure’s whole head sculpt is very exquisite and realistic.
This head sculpt has the following features:
- Facial fidelity is very good, and the pore details are clearly visible.
- The actor Liu Simu’s facial features are very accurate. His contours of the cheeks, serious eyes and the shape of the closed lips are all well portrayed.
- Some small details, such as forehead lines and small mole below the left cheek are also reproduced.
- In addition, the hairstyle is also very good to recreate his look in the movie.
If you have already watched this movie, I believe you will be more satisfied with this Shang-Chi head sculpt.
It is hoped that this head sculpt can maintain this level when the figure is officially released.
Regard to the accessories, it comes with a brown-colored staff with wood grain pattern.
In addition, it also includes five pairs of interchangeable hands, a necklace, a figure stand, and a brown-colored staff with effect ends.
It’s worth mentioning that there are some accessories that have not been made public this time.
This themed figure stand includes a hexagonal form base and snake-shaped hose bracket, which can be used with the main body to act out the pose that kicks in the air.
Because this action figure was launched before the movie was released, it may be to prevent spoilers, so other accessories have not been announced for the moment.
