Considering the popularity of this video game, Sideshow presents a new statue of Eredin, the antagonist of The Witcher.
From its looks, the designing and painting have been done thoroughly, which is truly exceptional. Let’s take a look!
In his pursuit of Ciri, whose magic Eredin wishes to harness to save his people, the King of the Wild Hunt is stepping from a portal with frightening armor and a sword in his hand.
This is a comparison of the size of the statue to an apple. It has an approximate height of 19.5 inches (49.53cm) with a width of 12.5 inches. The depth of the statue is approximately 13.5 inches.
Although this statue shows a simple pose of Eredin walking forward with a sword, it reflects how he walks in confidence and bravery, and the terrifying appearance of the monstrous wraith made the statue very powerful and exuded a dangerous atmosphere.
Eredin motion from head to toe is ghastly as he stands on what seems to be thin ice, wearing metal shoes and a red flashy body suit overall, with different shades of color and different shielding caps seen mostly around all the important joints; depicted on the story how any battle with Geralt is not an easy one and maximum protection is needed on both sides. He wears a blood-red cape around his shoulders with metal thorns on it.
Eredin’s overall look feels heavy as the armor has been made in a way to protect Eredin from any danger. The special thing about the armor is that every part of the suit is made as a weapon, with sharp edges on each feature.
Taking a closer look at his armor, we can see that every part of his clothing has intricate detailing done. The spikes and thorns are embellished in every material, be it his cape, his body etc., showing how much significance his suit holds to save him from a fatal attack.
The whole suit, along with the cape, looks like it is made out of leather. With the metal ribs on the chest, there is extra protection of the important organs, with a tight grip on the sword.
His armor also has a clutch on the right side of his chest in a circle, showing how he belongs in the sect against the witchers.
He has other sharp metal pointed thorns from his right shoulder. Glancing at the detailing here, his cape gives an ombre look with shine.
The cape material looks thick and gives a silk shine. Eredin is completely covered with this suit; there is no skin shown from any part of his armor.
There are several belts attached below his metallic waist belt. His knee caps and hand gloves are fully metallic. Additionally, he wears a metal foot cap over his suit to shield his legs.
Eredin’s shoes have small blades on the back of his ankle, indicating more protective measures.
This Eredin statue is proof that no other antagonist can rock the armor Eredin has on.
The back of the statue shows Eredin’s armor from behind. There is a lot of detailing in the back with his metal head and tightened metal cover over his bodysuit. Moving forward, he also has 4 leather belts covering his back from the waist below. Each is designed with minimalistic details, which is quite impressive, as the statute is exactly what we see on our screens.
This head sculpt reproduces Eredin wearing a skull helmet.
Eredin’s skull helmet gives out a monstrous look with claws on the head of the mask facing upwards, showing dominance. Eredin’s eyes from his skull look hollow, giving a more frightening look.
Eredin holds a sharp, silver sword with his right hand in full motion. And he is Walking with confidence and bravery, ready to fight against Geralt of Rivia.
Focusing on Eredin’s sword, we can find that his sword has wavy spikes with a brown handle. And the end of the sword seems to be rusty, depicting that it has been used and got bloody.
The ice crescent is also seen changing form on the surface, forming a watery base.
The crescent ice in the background has a blend of different shades of blue, going from white to sky blue, towards a darker shade.
Built on an ice crescent, Eredin stands in power, showing signs of strength, valor and bravery. This statue also includes a lot of detailing in the armor with the color of spikes and the sword features. Great for displaying in the living room as shown in the picture and letting the beholder see its courage!
