Posted by The popular Japanese toy company FuRyu has launched a Yuta Okkotsu & Rika Orimoto Figure from the hit anime movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and it looks fresh and exciting, unveiling certain messages and meanings behind the story of the product. Let’s take a look!
This Yuta Okkotsu & Rika Orimoto Figure is meticulously crafted on a scale of 1/7, where Yuta’s overall height reaches about 6.7 inches (17cm) and Rika on the other hand, goes up to 12.41 inches (31.5cm).
This figure’s design is based on the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, which also is a part of the F: Nex series.
The plot of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 mainly outlines Yuka Okkotsu’s story about how his childhood friend Rika, who dies in a car accident, lingers around as a monster to protect him because of a special grade curse.
And the design of this figure captures the iconic image of the manifestation of Special Grade Vengeful Spirit Rika.
Compared with the above manga screenshots, the overall recreation is very detailed and good.
The view from this angle is a clear depiction of how Rika’s character is matched with Yuta. Special Grade Vengeful Spirit Rika protects Yuta and that’s how it is demonstrated here. Yuta is in his defensive form, bent on his knees to gather power; whereas, Rika looks mighty, hovering right behind him waiting to attack anyone who got too close to Yuta using her arms.

The color composition of the overall clothing is very natural, reflecting the excellent painting technology of FuRyu.
In addition, Yuta holds his unique Katana sword, which is mainly used to channel and carry Rika’s power.
The sword is depicted also looks sharp, and its handle is red in color.
If you look closely, you can also find that Yuta has a blue promise ring on his finger that Rika gave him at the park before dying. It is obvious that FuRyu has good control over the details.

The Special Grade Vengeful Cursed Spirit Rika has a purple body and long nails with visible ribs and tentacles in place of hair. Rika’s mouth is clearly monstrous; the teeth resemble those of a dinosaur giving a vengeful overall look. Although, Rika’s upper body is very similar to a human’s, depicting that she had been spirited from the form of a human.
With her arms covering Yuta and her mouth roaring in rage. Rika’s ribs and necklines are very prominent indicating stress and vengeance.
We can clearly see the color blue blending into the purple on Rika’s skin. Her muscular arms come in handy keeping Yuta safe.

For the head sculpt, the Special Grade Vengeful Cursed Spirit Rika’s sight seems to be locked on one target as the same as Yuta’s, because they are looking straight ahead with mighty expressions.
The Cursed Spirit Rika’s head is fumed with a bunch of vertical portions that align the brain as shown in the anime.
Rika’s tongue is purple in color with a blood-red mouth and bright pink gums.
The expression gets clearer as we get closer and closer. It looks pretty vengeful and full of rage. On the verge of protecting each other out of love! Even though Rika is only alive in the spirit, her determination of being present for Yuta is shown subtly in this figure.
This angle shows the figure from the backside, we get a better view of the tentacle hair on the back of its head with emphasis on the veiny details.
Her entire figure is shown over him acting as a shield from behind. The base of the figure is also connected to Rika’s body.
The base of the figure is clearer from this angle onwards; Rika has a tail-like shadow from beneath with a bunch of spots on the lower front and tendrils with long thin and sharp teeth.
