The monster-themed series of “Art Works Monsters” belongs to MegaHouse in Japan and has once launched the Blue-eyes White Dragon, Red-eyes Black Dragon, and Black Luster Soldier from “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and have been well-received.
Now they present a new Black Magician Figure (Dark Magician) from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. Let’s take a look at its performance.

This Black Magician figure is a non-scale and non-articulated figure, its overall height is 23cm, approx. 9.06 inches.
And it belongs to MegaHouse’s Art Works Monsters series.

The Black Magician is a 7-star card used by the protagonist Yugi Muto, with an attack of 2500 and a defense of 2100. As a magician, it has the highest level of attack and defense.
This figure is prototyped by well-known Japanese stylist Kenji Ando, reinterpreting the Black Magician with his unique personal style. What is shown is the iconic posture of the Black Magician with his left hand spread out and his right hand waving his wand, as if preparing to launch an offensive.

The FIgure’s overall costume is very delicate and detailed. Black Magician wears a suit of blue-based armor with ornate patterns.

You can see that the depiction of the armor is very three-dimensional and has a strong sense of layer. The shape and structure of the shoulder pads are very beautiful. There are textures and folds on the front armor, and the silver ring over his stomach that ties the belt of his armor seems to be sculpted to shine bright. At the same time, there are excellent patterns on the skirt of the armor, and it has a good expression of dynamic effects.

From the back, the armor is also well-detailed. The dark blue paint on the armor performs well, and the combination with the dark red lines makes its glossy effect present a weird and eerie atmosphere.

The head sculpt is also good. The iconic helmet that represents the identity of the Black Magician is sure to be reproduced. He wears the blue and red helmet of his armor over his orange hair, which also seems to be sculpted up to the finest quality. The helmet he wears stands straight over his head with a pointy edge to keep his enemies afraid.

With a close-up look at his face, you can easily make out the expression on his face by his sharp eyes and lips in a straight line. His light blue skin also seems to be perfectly aligned with the character of the Black Magician in the anime.

The magic wand also performed well, with a green orb embedded in the top.
In addition, the Dark Magic Circle is also used in the base’s design. The structure of the magic circle ring is engraved with complex magic runes.

If you have purchased the blue-eyed white dragon figure before, you can also reproduce the classic scene of the Back Magician against the blue-eyed white dragon. Of course, it will also have a good display effect when placed with other series of figures.

The Black Magician is the only character that wasn’t entirely revealed right at the beginning of the anime but was created with the help of fusion, getting many people’s attention.
Pre-order right now to get rid of the sadness for later that you might be attached to if you lose the chance of buying such an extinguishing figure.
