Posted by Everybody is aware of the manga series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” now, and if you’ve already watched it or its TV series, you must recognize one of the amazing characters, “Tengen Uzui”. He is one of the main characters in Demon Slayer.
Tengen Uzui’s fighting skills and techniques were the ones that made people want to buy a scale figure or a diorama of him. Since he is the main supporting character, he was able to hook many of the manufacturers to sculpt his portrayal. Kotobukiya is proud to launch a 1/8 scale figure of Tengen Uzui for the fans of Demon Slayer.
Tengen Uzui, who has a fanatical love for being flamboyant, calls himself the “God of flashiness and festivals” who is in charge of flashy. Once a ninja, he joined the Demon Slayer Corps and was eventually promoted to Sound Hashira.
After removing his makeup, he is a beautiful man, and has three female ninjas as wives!
This Tengen Uzui figure uses a 1/8 scale, the height is 233mm, approx. 9.17 inches. And it joined the ArtFX J series of Kotobukiya.
Unlike the Tengen Uzui 1/12 scale action figure I introduced before, this one is a non-articulated figure. It shows the moment when Tengen Uzui lowered his center of gravity and pulled his Nichirin blades out of the scabbard and sliced down his enemies.

The whole body is sculpted very realistically, faithfully recreating the appearance setting of Tengen Uzui in the TV series.
The strong muscles of the whole body are accurately portrayed, especially on the exposed arms, you can also see the blood veins popping out of his biceps. Also, the golden rings on his biceps are made into the same color and same material as he originally had.
He holds the swords in both hands as he seems to stand fearlessly, facing his enemies, confident of winning the battle. His black outfit seems to be made of silk leather, while his slippers are also flawlessly attached to his foot with red bandages across his legs.
The black Demon Slayer uniform also has a phrase written on the back of his outfit, which means the words “Destroy”.
The 4 white ribbons also have good details, showing the torn ribbons on the blades when the Nichirin blades are unsealed, and the float-around effect caused by the movement of the character.
Even the white belt is also tied perfectly over his waist to make sure the shape of his body is also made with such delicacy and the portrayal of Tengen Uzui.
The wrinkles over his trousers are also depicted to exhibit his body movement of himself.
And the base of the ground with rocks scattered all over seems to be a place in a war zone as Tengen Uzui gets ready for the battle.
With sandy and rocky ground, Tengen is able to stand steadily while keeping his body movements as smooth as possible, along with the blades in both his hands.
Looking at this picture, a lot of details are visible, like the nail paint over his fingers and a ring on his middle finger, which shows his personality of flashy, while also proving that he already has 3 wives.
Two Nichirin blades, also known as Nichirin Cleavers. The sharpness of the blades is reflected by the excellent painting.
Their surfaces also have a phrase, “Destroyer of Demons,” written right in front of them, which also gained many fans’ attention.
This head sculpt also has a lot of details.
His white hair is also sculpted to portray the flow of the ponytail because of the wind.
Art of a blood flower pattern over his left eye and the facial expression as cold as ice can also be seen as the perfect duplication of Tengen Uzui.
The vivid expression depicts the strength and confidence of Tengen Uzui as a Hashira.
